Also referred to as “A Grade,” Wind and Water Tight containers are ideal for budget-conscious buyers seeking a reliable storage solution. These containers are typically 12 to 15 years old and have been retired from international shipping by leasing companies and cargo lines.
They show noticeable signs of wear, including dents, scratches, surface rust, and well-used flooring. Some may have repaired wall sections. Despite the cosmetic wear, each unit is inspected to ensure it is wind and water tight—meaning there are no holes and the doors seal properly.
WWT containers are no longer certified for international shipping but are perfect for home storage, local transport, or use on construction sites. They are structurally sound and capable of being stacked up to eight units high in depots.
